Hot Mirrors

Hot mirror is a special optical thin film filter mainly used for reflecting infrared radiation (thermal radiation) and transmitting visible light, which is similar in function to IR cut filter, but with a slightly different design objective. It is widely used in projectors, photographic equipment, laser systems, etc. to prevent thermal infrared radiation from interfering with or damaging optical systems.
