Fluorescence Dichroic Filters
Dichroic filters directly determine the detection sensitivity and resolution limits of fluorescent systems. Recent studies have shown that optimizing dichroic filters can improve single-molecule detection efficiency by up to 300% (Nature Methods, 2023). It is recommended that high-end systems be calibrated for spectral performance every 2 years to maintain optimal imaging quality.
